a la Mode Cowl Pattern

The a la mode cowl pattern uses simple cables and stitch twists to make a simple yet stunning snuggly cowl. The pattern includes instructions to use either fingering or DK weight yarn.

Materials: 
Yarn: 

•Fingering weight option: approx 437 yds/100g
• DK weight option: approx 218 yds/100 grams

Needles:

• Fingering weight option: US 3 (3.25 mm) 16" (61cm) circular needs or set of 5 DPNs
• DK weight option: US 6 (4.0 mm) 16" (61 cm) circular needs or set of 5 DPNs

Extras:

• stitch markers
  • 1 for BOR
  • 3 for fingering weight pattern (optional)
  • 2 for DK weight pattern (optional)
  • cable needle
  • tapestry needle

Gauge:

• Fingering weight option: 15 sts per 2”

• DK weight option: 10 sts per 2”

Finished Flat Measurements, unstretched: 8” wide at brim and 10” tall
